Expensive 8 Week-Old Kitten Thrown Away Like A Broken Toy After Kids Destroy Her…[STORY BELOW]

This little kitten is just 8 weeks old and has already experienced the worst humanity has to offer. Her name is Kiwi, and she was thrown away like garbage after likely being broken by kids. Though we don’t know for certain, it’s pretty clear to us what likely happened to this poor girl. Kiwi is a Persian Himalayan cat, a purebred, expensive cat. At just a few weeks old, she would have been of age to be sold, and the owners likely bought her as a present for their kids. After mishandling her and subsequently injuring the poor kitten, they decided it was not worth it to get her to the vet. Instead, they’d throw her away like a broken toy and move on with their lives, while Kiwi was forced to fight for her own survival.

We found Kiwi dragging her lower half around town, barely able to get around without painful scraping of her entire body every inch she traveled. Her lack of mobility not only put her in a devastating amount of pain, it also made her an easy target for a wild animal, at high-risk of getting hit by a car, or any other number of possibilities that strays face on the streets.

Of course, we brought her into our care and immediately came up with a game plan of how we could save her. Kiwi has a broken hip and a possible break at the end of her spine where her tail begins. After sustaining these injuries, we would be able to wrap our heads around her owners deciding maybe a small kitten wasn’t the best fit for their family. However, there are options in cases like these – and the option to throw an innocent soul out on the streets like a piece of trash is NEVER the right answer.

We are heartbroken that Kiwi was forced to endure so much cruelty in her short, young life, all because humans couldn’t, or wouldn’t, give her the respect she deserved. They didn’t see her worthy of care, and subsequently proclaimed that her life didn’t matter. We beg to differ.

Please consider donating to help us provide for Kiwi in the ways she needs and deserves. We are going to do everything we can to show her that not all humans are cruel, and that her life and her future matter. There can be bright skies ahead for her, but we can’t do it alone. Please know that anything you can give will help, no matter the size donation. Thank you for your kindness.

Please note that due to the costs of shipping items to Lebanon, some of the items on the wish list may be donated to local US rescues in Kiwi’s honor. Thank you for helping animals around the world.
