Teaching a dog to “go” and perform a task at a remote location can be challenging. Most training is to come toward the owner and perform tasks close to the owner or trainer. Come, sit, down, stay, etc is all teaching the dog that obedience happens close to the owner. Training a dog to “go” is an often over looked task. “Go” kennel, “go” outside “go” load up in the car, etc are not usually taught in classes.
