My dog Penny uses her talking buttons to ask me for cuddles. Talking buttons are a lot of fun for both her and me. They are an awesome enrichment activity because she’s a highly intelligent dog and needs extra attention in order to prevent boredom, and this helps her to have not only a training opportunity where she uses her mind to solve problems, but it also gives her a creative way to communicate her wants and needs to her people. Training builds a strong bond and helps keep depression away in dogs which helps with destructive behavior.

Btw don’t know if u know this but probably best to stop the talking button things it ends up making dogs to self aware they not only get really depressed but their brain drains a lot faster. Just thought I’d let u know bc it seems like a fun little thing but after awhile it Leeds to severe damage that can’t really be undone. People who started doing this with their dogs a few years ago have all said they wish they stopped.
Not doing this to hate just seems like u love ur dog so i wouldn’t add anymore buttons in the future and try to take some away since u can’t really take all of them away
