  1. As a business owner looking to grow a brand I'd definitely want a ride or die velcro dog like the Doberman as my 24/7 companion.

  2. What is your opinion on them as service dogs?

I feel like they can get bad looks because of their reputation as aggressive dogs, but i guess if ears are nor cropped they will look more friendly. I know looks shouldn’t matter for a service dog, but in reality they do when going in public

  3. And why is this Doberman ears and tail chipped off? Pls don't promote this kind of bull when you have a reach. Every personality traits you mentioned is a Doberman without chopping off its body parts.

  4. My Cane Corso is the best sentry dog I've ever had. Like they how require minimum training. But Dobermans are still my favorite for some reason

  5. I had a Doberman before I met my wife. She wanted a small dog like a Boston Terrier or French bulldog and I wanted another Doberman. We settled on a boxer but I would love another dobbie.

  6. Seeing this and the protection aspect… made me laugh a bit. Granted it's not how anyone would expect. I did an instacart delivery to a house that had a Doberman. I'd say around a year old. They had the beware of dog sign and obviously to protect their house. The customer sent out their teenage son to get the order. Sure enough the Doberman got out and was super sweet and is why I laughed. The teenager was all apologetic and struggled to get their dog back in the yard. So I'd guess a year old or maybe younger. Picked the dog up and carried them. Entire time licking my face.

I'm sure the dog will protect the house. I do know dogs can tell the difference between a bad person and a good one. I've done a delivery waiting on a customer to get their order. All while I waited the dog was like, "a person who'll give me attention!" Customer comes out asking if I been there before and I hadn't. All the sudden she's all, "oh he mauled my brother, he's a sneaky one." No. I can tell by how dirty the dogs fur is. They slept outside and no one plays with them. It's not nearly as bad as the time a Cane Corso breeder showed up to the dog park. His female cane stands next to me and I start petting her. The owner looks at me and says, "she normally doesn't let that happen." Then the male comes over for some pets.

  7. When I first saw this breed as a kid it was love at first sight!😍 As an adult I finally got a beautiful rust female Dobie… from far she looked like a male bc of her size.
Her name was Yendah. Her mom was a black Dobie…very protective and mean which is what I use to like about the breed. They WERE naturally protective but the "mean temp" in breed was bred out of it….today Dobie are as friendly as Labs🤷‍♂️
I even took her for protection training …but she did not pass test.
She was a good watch dog her bark would scare people away😄

  8. I own a sheltie and an aussie right now and one day I want a doberman. My parents owned one when i was little and I really miss it
