A Week with a Staffordshire Bull Terrier Family. Rain, Bath Chaos & Puppy Cuddles | Wolfpack Weekly
A sudden rainstorm turns a peaceful walk through Sycamore Woods into a full-speed Staffy race for home, but getting nine soaked Staffordshire Bull Terriers clean is where the real chaos begins. ❤️🐾
Most of the Wolfpack behave beautifully at bath time. Boo has other ideas. She runs around the house grumbling, wriggles in the bath and makes two daring escapes before finally joining everyone for a well-earned treat.
This week also brings another collection of cute Staffy puppy moments, Smudgekins and Baby Bluebelle forming the sweetest bond, and Smudgekins, Mumbles and Walter turning the house and garden into their own wrestling arena.
With only two weeks until Eva’s puppies are due, Tommy has quietly appointed himself as her laid-back pregnancy companion and protector. We also visit Dexy’s house, watch Walter patiently wait for Smudgekins in the big field, enjoy Julie’s legendary countryside camera work, and find the whole Wolfpack lined up hoping for a share of her tea.

My dog who died hated having a bath. In the end I washed him in my kitchen sink. Little Walter so funny and cheeky still. I don't blame Boo for not having a bath. bless them all. 😍

Hahaha! Staffies DETEST rain. I have been privileged to own three Staffies over the years, and each one of them hated rain. My first dog, Ben, absolutely would not go out for a wee or a Keir Starmer (No 2!) if it was raining. He would stand at the back door, and glare up at me as if he was saying, "If you think I am going out in that, you can dream on mate!" My last Staffy, Stella, had a temper tantrum with me on one occasion when we got caught out in the rain. We were doing a coastal walk north of Whitby when a sudden heavy shower came down. She went absolutely potty and virtually shouted at me! My mate Trevor who was with us found it highly amusing, he was amazed at her intelligence and 'communication skills!' lol
