My father came home with a bearded collie pup when I was 8 weeks old. I grew up with Sam and he was my best friend until age 15 when he taught me all about grief. No dog leans on you like a beardie, no dog nose snuffles into you like a beardies. The gentlest, most intelligent and loyal family member. I’ve had other dogs in my life and loved them all, but my dog heart always yearns for a beardie.
I would love to see/hear more about where the addison's disease information comes from? I have lived with this breed for 50 years, and never had one with it…not saying it doesn't exist, just interested to see more evidence
