  1. If you ever seen Toy Story 2 where in the beginning Woody is rubbing the family's dog's belly and he makes that face most people do when they scratch a dog's belly really fast. 😬 kind of face. Anyway that's face I wanna make when I see these kinds of dogs. They just want loves and scratches. And it hurts my heart a little when I see them and I know not every person sees that. So happy that this sweetheart has a good dad. ❤

  2. Btw sitting next to the owner slowly and have him put his hand on your shoulder or shaking hands is a great way to show your dog that someones not a threat

  3. Everyone saying that’s not a neo. SHUT UP he probably knows that, there’s banned breeds that might be in the mix. Let’s all agree for the dogs sake, it’s a neopolitan mastiff.

  4. My dog barks and looks scary but has never hurt anyone. I have to tell people to just pet him and he gets confused and just forgets to bark but most people are too afraid to even try. I always have end up telling him “this is why you don’t have friends” 😢

  5. What upsets me aswell whoever sold this man this dog and told him she's a neo mastiff has absolutely mugged this poor bloke off looks more cane corso cross to me tbf neos have massive folds and wrinkles over most their body and mostly the face

  6. Ban all pitbull breeds.

Fun fact: pitbulls are the only dog breed that will literally attack you on sight if you have a seizure in it’s vicinity

  7. Owners energy is unsure and closed off. Not maintaining eye contact, crossed arms, crossed legs, shaking feet. She’s unsure and looking for leadership. This is not the time to approach a dog without physical contact like a handshake with the owner first. She’s unsure if she needs to defend or defer to her family. Unsure people do not need to have anxious dogs when they are not aware of their body language.

  8. Absolutely Never let someone your dog is leary of ,approach ,the dog is actively saying No,growling backing up…sorry but ,No thank you, is a complete sentence…respect your dogs boundries…

  9. reminds me of my dog 🙂 shes a rescue, old lady now. She'll bark at any man but loves women and kids, my dad and I are the only men she's cool with.

  10. Please be careful ! Protective breeds are not going to be happy with a stranger walking over to and standing over their owner , while owner is sitting or on the ground.

  11. Thank you for respecting this dog's boundaries. ❤

I have a pity that loves all of God's creatures. Except tall men in baseball hats. She was a rescue I found bloody and beaten on the side of the road. Somebody worked her over so bad she had a massive hematoma over her eye and a broken rib. I have ZERO fear that this dog would ever hurt me, a child, dog, cat, etc. But any dude with a hat 6ft or taller she has nothing but hatred for. Irrationally agressive. She will give them ample warning and stay close to me but she is 100% ready to eat faces. My brother is 6.4ft and he had to convince her over the years he isn’t a threat. Now she just accepts he is around but she doesn't go near him voluntarily.

My girly has been my ride or die for 17 years now. I can stand in the middle of a busy park surrounded by people with her off a leash and she would never leave my side. I did not have to train that. A neighbor once left the gate to my backyard open. I didn’t know and let her and my other pup out. The one went for a visit to the neighbors house. My girl just laid on the porch watching me chase down her sister. Never left the backyard.

Idk who the tall bastard in a hat was that hurt her but fuck you and I hope you have the day you deserve.

  12. These dogs were breed as guard dogs and also used for military purpose by Romans. Please don't make it look like these are just gentle giants, Most of these dogs are gentle until "completely out of their character" she rips someone's face off.

  13. I know it sounds mad, but sometimes, approaching a dog like that is best done backwards, because they find the frontal approach intimidating.

  14. Ummm that’s definitely not a Neapolitan mastiff. There might be a tiny bit of neo in her, but a small percentage looking at her. I’ve had French, Neapolitan and English mastiffs and only speaking from experience
