      I'm on my second Manx mix. My first one had the double coat. It was so dense it felt almost like mink, and her vet used to call it The Pelt, as if it had a separate existence from the supporting cat. Most of her fur was white, and ten years after she passed I still find her hair. Truly epic quantities of fur.
