Papillons are elegant and lively little dogs known for their playful nature. But if you own one, or plan on getting one, then there are a few things that you really shouldn’t do – and I’ll explain why. That said, here are 8 things that you must never do to your Papillon. I teach my dogs when they are very young puppies. I never use "treats". I just show them what I want them to do and they do it. They don't do it for food. That's stupid. The mother dogs teach them to behave very young. So do I.
They are very well mannored inside and outside the house house.
Actually, these rules apply to all dogs, not just Papillons.

Speaking as a Papillon owner, this video is surprisingly good. Well worth watching if you are considering getting one.
I struggle in frigid climates too so i think we would make a great couple, it's harder to warm up then cooldown
…a bit silly to just ignore your Papillon when it’s naughty. You will get rapidly demoted from alpha dog to under dog! My Papillon knows the full range of my voice from laughter to anger. Shouting and swiping a hand above her head does the trick and drives the message home, she’s done something wrong and nobody actually gets hurt ! 😝
I have 2 paps, both are agility champions, one is a lap dog the other isn’t, both are very high energy and very happy dogs
