I had a cat that would lick my head all the time, and sometimes he would also put his paw on my head and bring out his claws if I tried to move away from him. After about 10-20 minutes of nonstop licking he would start growling while still licking, so it sounded like "laum laum laum…" with each consecutive 'laum' getting deeper in pitch, occasionally adding a hiss into the mix; and despite his clear displeasure at that point, he'd still continue licking my hair for another 10 or so minutes before finally having enough… I think the longest he ever spent licking my hair was about an hour and half.
I miss my sweet boy dearly…
