I've been rescuing pitts for 20 years and I've only come across one that was dangerous but he was horribly abused,neglected and fought. He went to another rescue that had a farm where he could have a large area to himself. He stayed there happy for the next 11 years until he passed of old age. I will never forget Champ. Pitts are the sweetest, gentlest, and most loyal, people pleasing breed there is. ❤
Yeah I have one of those dangerous Rottweilers, she loves to cuddle with me. She is a little over 100 pounds but she thinks she is tiny like a teacup poodle. Yes she can be intimidating the sound of her bark is painful, but she gives love freely, I have wild rabbit in my yard yesterday morning she was outside playing with one of them. Now that was funny to watch , the bunny hops than my 100 pound dog hops, of course I didn't have a camera. But it was hilarious to see.
Pitts are loyal and will never bite their owners. The reason why they are feared because appearently there are many bite incidents. But not to their owners but to strangers. (Not a researcher here, i dont know the numbers)
Honestly with ANY dog if ur out walking and u see a dog u want to pet u should ask the owner "is ur dog friendly? Can i pet him/her?" Doesn't matter the breed any dog can be aggressive in certain situations. I knew a dog that was only aggressive when her mama was pregnant or alone with the kids in the stroller otherwise was fine.
One can be both extremely dangerous and extremely loving at the same time. I am. Multiple truths can exist within a living being. Nothing is ever black and white – not even the colors black and white. Just go to a paint store.
I think everyone knows by now, that pitties are only dangerous if the have assholes for owners. The only people who keep promoting the belief that pitties are bad are the people "supposedly trying" to stop it. So as a person who believes animals are good and people are shit, please stop proving me right!
I had a staffie when I was younger and she was the most caring, gentlest and protective dog I had. They get their bad reputation from people who mistreat them. ❤️❤️

My pittie goes to bed with me every night. I love that dog. She's the biggest baby. If I don't come to bed there are times she'll be waiting for me
