    How Old Is Your YORKSHIRE TERRIER in HUMAN YEARS? [Applies to every small dog breed]

    It’s not only for Yorkshire Terriers but for all small dog breeds (dogs weighing under 10 kg (20lbs). But it doesn’t apply to medium-sized and large dogs.
    There is some different information on how to calculate your dog years into human years in their puppy year and early adulthood (2-4 years), but in this chart, I used the information I saw most often.
    Senior years start at 8-10 years.
    Also, as you can see the popular multiplying your dog’s age by 7 does not apply; it is a bit trickier if you want a more precise answer.

    She is called Brity. Brity is a Yorkshire Terrier (Yorkie), and she is 9 years old. Brity loves to bark and to be bossy and most important of all she just A.D.O.R.E.S food. All food! She doesn’t know what ”picky eater” means.
