  1. Rottis, Malinois,Schäferhunde, Dobis und Cane Corsos 🎉, ausser bei ner Knarre, gibt's keinerlei Chance 😊❤❤❤Beste!!!!

  2. Just to mention, any dog of a size can do severe damage to a human being eg: it was reported that a Labrador Retriever mauled it's owner, I've been bitten twice by a cute family spaniel, and it also bit a stranger, in other words any dog is potentially dangerous and could kill if the situation is right, it's just some breeds are very bad in their nature, as it's about how their bred eg: purpose, strength, size, speed, bite force. aggression, breed character etc and this must be controlled to save lives, regardless of the boyish need for such dogs being paraded as 'status' symbols.

Want to know the No1 dog for protection – it's the Rhodesian Ridgeback aka – the Lion Dog, a hunter/guardian bred beast that can subdue a Lion, two of them can take a Lion down, actually probably one is enough, and Lions can detach a man's head clean off with a paw swipe, so imagine how badass a Ridgeback is. A Ridgeback can defeat all dog breeds period, as it's not about bite force, it's about speed/agility of attack and gaining advantage quickly as most dogs possess enough bite force to shred skin, so speed beats all, it beats size, power and weight, even old, smaller dogs are so fast, they can bite easily to do enough damage and kill.

Other notable breeds not mentioned are:

At No2. is the Weimaraner – a German breed of hunting dog of medium to large size, characterised by its speed and stamina, its good nose and eye, and its courage and intelligence, do not underestimate this doggie.

No 3, Irish Wolfhound – a giant sighthound breed, known for their towering size and strength, (the tallest dog on earth), a hunting dog built to er, well hunt large game and can easily dispatch wolves, very easily! Great protection, with a kind heart.

No 4, Giant Schnauzer – remain excellent guard dogs, and are affectionate with their families, intelligent, and easy to train. Cuteness too….

Too many Vain Corso fans today, this mastiff breed is dangerous and would overpower a human easily, it's such a dog that if it decided to attack, it's just way to much of a handful, I don't even want to think about the consequences of an attack by such dogs. People need pets, pets are gentle and loving, so why purchase a dog that is designed to rip your hand off – this status stuff annoys me so much, personally I quite enjoy my life and glad my skin remains intact thanks very much.

  3. There's a couple on here that is Not for just anyone they need a lot of training and attention so please do your research before you get one..

  4. Without a doubt, the best ever is the 'long nosed, long tailed, short legged terrier' ………. better know as a crocodile.

  5. I actually thought this was going to be a video showing actual DIFFERENT breeds. These breeds have been covered in hundreds of videos about 'the best guard dogs' by other YouTube channels. But I do want to add one thing. If you choose a 'Chow Chow', let it be known that they are VERY unpredictable to the tilt. They can be family friendly for all of their lives, until one day they snap. Start acting like Cujo but without the rabies. Be warned.

  6. I have a Amstaff who was attacked by a much bigger dog just yesterday, she grabbed it by the throat, without causing damage and just looked at me. All I had to do was say say come to me baby girl and she release, backed up and sat at my side. If she was “vicious “ she could have caused serious damage to a shepherd mix much larger, she didn’t. Staffies, if you take them out and socialize feed on interacting with people. She loves everyone, especially children.

  7. My last boxer once put himself between my daughter and a man following her through a small wood. He would not let the man approach or pass, snarls, growls, hackles, barks, the works, my daughter took out her phone and the man turned back and walked away. Best Boy was rewarded handsomely later with best steak.

  8. My list of 8 Underrated Guard dogs: 1: Akita 2: Fila Brasileiro 3: Rafeiro do Alentejo 4: Great Dane 5: Swiss Mountain Dog 6: German Pincher 7: Catahoula Leopard Dog 8: Standard Schnauzer. Honorable mentions: Rhodesian Ridgeback, Hovawart, Beauceron, The Bouvier des Flandres and Airedale Terriers ✌🏽❤️

  9. my breed is Boxer. so loving gentle and playful. especially with children. but when needed they will protect and guard. my last male "bandit" had to be in the middle of the fun when my young daughter had company. but lord bless a stranger that tried to come in his house or yard. my female "lilo" was laying between the kids one night while they slept in the family room. i came into the room late in the night to check on them. at the time i did not know it was not a good ideal to creep up on them with a ball cap on in the middle of the night. after i screamed out her name twice she recognized my voice. even in the dark i could see the hair on her back standing up as she charged after me. both of these dogs spent a lot of their time in my kids laps as if they were pet bunnies. i could get them both to play attack me in a instant but they absolutely refused to even play fight my kids. i miss them dearly. and so very intelligent and easy to train.

  10. I love the American bully, the bold terrier, the pitbull Staffordshire and the Corso they’re all awesome if I had a big enough house in a lot of land, I would have all of them❤

  12. Ha DIMENTICATO LA SALUTE ESTREMAMENTE FRAGILE DEL BOXER dovuta a DISSENNATI incroci fra consanguinei! Ecco perché non viene scelto spesso.

  13. Personally I think the Staffy is to small to be on this list. Now I could understand the AM Staff being on it,but not the Staffy. Also if a great Dane is going to be on this list, I would consider the Tosa. I so agree with having the Chow and Bull Terror on it.

  14. The staffies love everyone 😂😂 I've had 3 and they wanted to be besties with complete strangers!! And all 3 were complete powerhouses, size dosen't matter for this breed.
I do think the Boerbel should be on here though they are true watch dogs 😊

  15. Boxers are very underrated. One of the original only seven breeds accepted to do Schutzhund sport. Have had a boxer who excelled at protection in Schutzhund but was also brilliant with young kids. He once was put in a position where he had to make an executive decision between his training to attack someone brandishing a gun, biting the forearm holding it, and his socialisation as a family pet in a home with young children.
The person with the gun was the 7 year old kid from next door and the gun was a realistic toy cap gun. He was pointing it at my 5 year old son. My boxer gave a strangled sort of cry, neither bark nor growl, then pushed my son over as he sprang at the other boy. He did not bite but knocked him to the floor then stood over him preventing him from getting up until I was able to remove the toy gun and reassure the dog it was all safe.
Not a lot of dogs would have been able to make such a good choice.
Definitely the most underrated especially for a family guardian.

  16. Not only the breed but genetic matters the most. You can have a freindly rottweiler
as well as an aggressive french bulldog… The show line irrespective of any breed are quite tolerant with unknown people until unless you make or train them to be like a real protectors…. Working lines best as compared to show lines in protection purpose.

  17. Komondor and Kuvasz – as other LSGDs – are genetically the best for the job. They know when to attack, and who. Never overdo it. And they have a special instinct.

  18. Sorry this is a terrible list, the only dog that is a protection dog is the Corso as they are actually used for protection (myself included). The other dogs are watch dogs and staffy’s are not even watch dogs as they love everyone. I train dogs as a side hustle and this ain’t it
