I bet you’ve never seen THIS mix 🐶 #dogphotography #streetportraits

I was walking near the Yorkson Dog Park in Langley when I spotted a VERY unique dog.

His owner, Jamie, said that he’s a Frenchie / Chow mix.

Yep, that’s right! 🙂‍↕️

A mix between a French Bulldog, and a Chow Chow.

She shared the story of how he came to be – a happy accident 😅

She even showed me his baby photos… He looked like a little Guinea Pig!

And no surprise, he was very photogenic. 😍

There are so many unique dogs in the Willoughby area; I feel like I have to make a trip back soon!

  1. My younger boy was born like this guy. Mom is a blue brindle pitbull and Dad a HUGE rottweiler. He looks like a brindle rottweiler. With rottweiler colors but brindle. Pictured in pfp with his big bro. ❤

  2. The best thing to happen to the current Frenchie genetics is putting something else in there so those poor dogs don't suffer so much. It's really bad what we've done to those dogs with breeding. 99% of French bulldogs have bad genetics, but that's what people did to make them visually what they wanted. I feel so bad every time I see a French bulldog, luckily some countries are doing something about it and trying to bring it back to the standard it originally was so they're not suffering.

  3. At least looks much healthier frenchie with his long muzzle. I love frenchies but I feel being unfair if I have one, it is like supporting breeders to do breed more suffering living beings. Staffies are but the best looks like frenchies but healthy versions of it❤

  4. Haha such a cute doggie.
My Roommates dog got my dog pregnant and now we each have a 20 breed dog. We did those dna test and the have 20 or more breeds. Super mutt. So cute tho.

  5. i mean my sister and I sat in our back yard when we were 5 and 7. one of the stray cats pinned our female cat down on the steps of the playground. made her scream! that was scary at the time lol

  6. I like that you were respectful and didn't take the owner's picture. I think she probably takes great pictures, but she was not comfortable with it. Very nice.
