Perfect off lead walking with a whippet

  1. That is one well trained whipper. I could have done that with one of mine, but not the other one … well not until she was about 13 years old … she just got really steady then but before that she would do random stuff that made it just not safe.

  2. It's amazing how well trained he is at heel but it's really dangerous to have a dog off-lead near a road. If something spooks your dog they could run out infront of a car and get killed. You might be able to have good controle over your dog; but you can't controle the environment and even the best trained dogs can get into situations where they just bolt without thinking. Can sometimes even happen with guide dogs or other service dogs.

Also he doesn't have a collar and a tag on; not only illigal but also really irrisponsible because you can't actually grab him or restrain him if you need to.
