Why Cats Ignore Treats But Watch Birds

I could literally put a treat right in front of him 😅
And he will not even look at it.

But the SECOND there is a bird outside…
Full focus. Locked in. Zero distractions.
Like suddenly he has perfect vision and a life mission.
Meanwhile the treat just sits there… completely ignored.

Tell me… what instantly gets your cat’s attention like this? 👇

  1. Perhaps they have distance vision but need glasses for up close, sort of like me. Maybe I'll loan my extra pair if reading glasses to my Logan. 😻😼😻

  2. I have amale manx that looks like Chip. Mine is called Dood. Dood's tail is a little bit longer. His Mamma was a rumpy
Calico. I enjoy ya'll stories of your cats.

  3. It is pretty funny that they have a hard time with such a thing lol purrfect hunters yet they can't find something that isn't moving. It's caused by design, felines are extremely attuned to movement and they are nearsighted as far as I know (I forget which is which but they have a harder time seeing up close) cats are strange and that's the best part about them

  4. Cats are natural hunters and their instincts are triggered by movement. A piece of meat on the floor doesn’t trigger their instincts like a bird.
