  1. I am on Dalmatian #6 and have always from puppyhood … 1. touched them during feeding and having bones to ensure safety should a child come up to them unexpectedly when they are eating. Also put your hands in their mouths and teach them to have a "soft mouth" ie no tooth pressure on hand. 2. It is good for dogs to socialise. When walking, always keep away from other dogs, until you have asked the owner if their dog is friendly and if it is OK for the dogs to meet. But first check your dog to see what signs it is exhibiting. Like humans, dogs are not going to like every dog they encounter. 3. Even in play, teach you Dally not to jump up on people, especially elderly people and children. It can be dangerous because of their body weight and strength of their claws.

  2. OMG, i just came across your channel! It warms my heart! I am on Dalmatian number 3, and my newest puppy is only 7 months old. I just watched your video where you guys picked him up and then had the first couple of weeks with him. It makes me so happy to see fellow members of the same community 😀 have such love for a Dal! I totally related to the bite marks from the puppy teeth and then the pains of working from home and being with our newest one for 24 hours a day! I instantly subscribed!

  3. Great video with some useful tips. I've had three Dalmatians and they've all been wonderful pets though each one had a very different personality.

  4. Like the way you care for your dog, though there are 2 points that I don't quite find ok. First it was not pointed out where the dog can pee and po if necessary during the day. And second only leash walking a dog is not ok. Dogs need to run to and be free of leash. I am sure there are places in the area where you can do so. I have had so far 2 german shepards, Akita inu, a Husky and a Sheltie. All highly energetic dogs, that needs a lot of mental and physical activity. I do leash walking only in the city's and other than that , I always make sure to find a possibility to walk the dog in the nature, so they can walk free. And what a difference it is for them. You can see in their eyes in their behaviour how that excites them and how happy they are.But it is true that they were and are trained good and they listen to every command, no exception.
