Help Give Senior Dogs a Lucky Life

At 15 years old, Lucky was abandoned at a shelter; his owners deemed him too old to keep. But thanks to the compassionate support of Northeast Ohio Collie Rescue and the generous funding from the Cosmo Senior Dog Fund, Lucky received the medical care he needed. The Cosmo Senior Dog Fund was established in honor of a beloved collie named Cosmo, through a bequest from his owner, the late Ed Plottke.

Today, Lucky is living happily in a loving home with a wonderful couple and their two other collies. Lucky’s wish is that more senior dogs like him can be helped through Northeast Ohio Collie Rescue. However, the fund dedicated to helping these senior dogs is running low as more dogs in need are assisted.
