You do You guys but I will never understand cage for a dog/cat, like with rats I do that so that they won’t hurt themselves but in 20+y I never did so (neither did my parents or grandparents) with any feline or canine
It feels so strange to see households where dogs have their own cages. In Germany that's not a thing, At least not as far as I could see a households with dogs
My cats run free in my home. I have in one of the hallways the petcarruer. I found out,by accident, that Lucy loves to go in there. I leave the carrier, that was not meant to be left in a hallway, in that very spot. This is Lucy's little hideaway. Also should she have to go to the vet, she will not fight me going in, as usual.
Why do Americans keep their dogs in crates in their homes. Are the dogs left in the crates when they go out AR to work. Somebody please put my mind at rest I cannot understand this.
The way Chloe child in there and feels comfortable, that's proper crate training!!! People don't understand that it should be a comfort to them, not a punishment
cute lol. One of my dogs loves her crate, and the other hates it and will not go in, sometimes we have to put both of them in the same cage for the other one to stay (they're pretty big cages). Very important to make sure your dog thinks cages are a safe place.
I just went to Lowe's and had them cut a peice of wood two inches larger than my dogs crate,stained and sealed it and put it ontop of her crate! Same ascetic,way cheaper and economical.
