My pitbull is like that too. You can’t keep him out of the water. We live at a lake too. He loves it. When he goes to the pet store he runs right to the back and jumps in the tub and is waiting for his bath. If my gf is in the tub he’s always trying to get in there with her. Never seen a dog jump out the door like that though. That’s such a sweet pitbull. The reputation they have is not at all their natural personality when raised properly and given lots of love. They are absolute sweethearts.
Call all the bully breeds pitbull is igorant and dont make favour to them. For that people say that all the attacks that a short air muscular dog make is a pitbull attack. This is a staffie.
