Excellent advice as always (best on this platform). I think puppy classes can be beneficial if (if) done correctly but it's really rare. Most jump right into sit / stay / loose leash, and gloss over things like markers, motivators, engagement, and play dynamics. I'd rather see a primer class that focuses only on the latter group, making behaviors a breeze to teach as the pup matures. Anyways, thanks for the sound advice here!
1000%, manners in the house is key from day 1. When I hear stories of destruction in other people's houses, I know they have untrained no manners dogs.
My Cane Corso's know the rules and follow them well, that's why I trust them to be lose in the house when I am out so they can fully guard the house. Every dog is taught to respect their elders and the cat.
