Thanks for sharing.
I had a basset mix, he looked more basset. It took a while for him to come out and trust me, he was abused and hit by a car and my sister rescued him. I wouldn't hesitate to get another basset, they're wonderful pets.
No need for breeders. Visit a rescue or shelter – lots of animals in need of a good home there.
Im not crying, youre crying.
❤️❤️❤️ this melted my heart to see how far he has come. Such a sweet boy.
Great story I guess. These people recording everything is bizarre…makes me wonder why they really do it.
I have adopted several Basset Hounds. They all had a problem of one kind or another. They are stubborn or self-spoiled but the sweetest personalities. I loved each of them immensely and in return i received their love and devotion. To me there is nothing nicer. They are not suited to everyone but if you are motivated by cuteness and little quirky personalities they are it!
I inherited 2 ancient dogs, 12 and 9 who were totally imprinted to their deceased owner. It took literally 1 year before anyone could pet them for more than a few seconds without growls and nips.
One year later, they turned around and now fight each other to be the nearest to me when relaxing and are so dramatic with barks and howls when I leave in the car and jump and bark in circles when I come back even if I'm gone for a few minutes. They are 15 and 12 now.
1 year is a long time, but they were old and unsocialised. It's so nice to see the turn in their perception of you even if it takes a while, especially with old dogs.
My 1st dog at 7 was a Basset Hounds, Ringo Star, of course…
I loved that dog so much…They're the best, it would hear a train coming 10 mins before it pasted, he'd hold his snout up and BAYOooo! It was adorable. Not to my parents…lol
This dog deserves the world.
This video makes me so happy yet also makes me tear up. Because this is exactly the experience I had 50 years ago when my sister returned home from college with Fred, a 1-year-old basset she rescued. He was absolutely terrified of everything and everybody. But after weeks of coaxing, cajoling and reassurance he became utterly devoted to me – and me to him. Best damn dog in the world. ❤️
This makes me so happy, to see him learn how to relax and find peace makes me smile.
Love it
Poor Beagles are so docile that man thinks he can get away with torturing them with experiments, but Jesus sees all and they will have to answer 1 day.😢😢😢😢
This story about Gunther made me so happy.😊
Oh my goodness Gunther is GORGEOUS
❤❤❤
Pure joy! 🙂
I find napping with hounds helps build trust along with steak
Pretty sure that's not a Basset Hound, but rather a Basset Artisian Normand
Instead of watching a movies, I could watch this kinda video all day long ❤❤❤
Beautiful! Love those wagging tails!
🙂
