Is a Rottweiler Dangerous Around Kids? Let’s Talk Reputation vs. Reality!
Rottweilers sometimes get a bad rap for being aggressive, but this isn’t the whole story! Like any dog, their behavior really depends on how they’re raised, trained, and socialized. They’re not naturally mean – they’re just big softies when given the right guidance. It’s important to remember that any dog, no matter the breed, can be risky if they’re not properly trained or if they feel scared or threatened. But with the right care, Rottweilers can be the most loving and gentle family members you could ask for! A well-trained, well-socialized Rottweiler can be amazing with kids. The key is responsible ownership, making sure your Rottie is introduced to children in a positive way, and always keeping an eye on their interactions to keep everyone safe and happy!

I'd be careful….he might snuggle her to death…..that child is better protected than most have any idea of….I've owned and raised rotties for over 20 yrs. nothing but big babies…long as you raise them right….no bad dogs….just bad owners…..
