It all happened when Teddy, the Chow Chow, was cured and vaccinated.
Eight days after receiving his second vaccine, Teddy contracted distemper, a severe and often deadly viral disease.
No one knows why it happened.
While other dogs were infected and cured, Teddy’s condition continued to worsen.
Elif was devastated. She had done everything she could to protect Teddy but the virus was relentless.
Teddy’s condition worsened; he lost the use of all four legs, and his eyes were affected. Despite intensive care and the best medicines available, Teddy’s health continued to decline.
She took Teddy to a private room in her house.
Every day she fed him, bathed him, talked to him, and took him out to sunbathe
