Ficus Is In Love

Rihanna is the gentle cat with a beautiful face. She is one of 3 female cats that started living in our backyard in 2019 when they were skinny kittens. The other 2 cats are Beyoncé and Adele. We call them the 3 divas. She’s probably 5 years old now. Ficus is an indoor cat and he grew up with our dogs Emma & Shirley. He wants to be friends with the 3 divas but it seems that only Rihanna is receptive.

On January 3, 2021, we found Ficus hiding underneath a pickup truck. He was tiny, dirty, skinny, starving, full of fleas and earmites. We estimated that he was about 3 months old. Later on we found out that Ficus is a Japanese bobtail. That explains his very playful nature. He’s also highly intelligent and lovable. Ficus will turn 4 on September 25, 2024 (a date we chose for him).
