did you know your cat knows a lot about you first your cat can sense your mood whether you’re happy sad or stressed they can feel it and might even try to comfort you second your cat knows your routine they notice when you wake up go to work and come home and often wait for you at these times third your cat recognizes your voice and can distinguish it from others responding when you call them fourth your cat is aware of your scent they rub against you to mix their scent with yours showing they trust you finally your cat knows when you’re not well they can sense when you’re sick and might stay close to you during those times

True my cat sits on top of me when I'm sad then I don't do nothing, cats do not like strong smells like perfume, garlic or other strong scents, they may be anxious when you are feeling down or stressed this don't mean they don't care , because they like being alone when they are stressed they may think you would like the same treatment

My cat doesn't even do none of that
When I got Covid, I had a huge panic attack and fainted numerous times. After the EMT reassured me it was just stress, I laid down on my bed under a mountain of blankets. My cat, who usually is pretty reserved and doesn’t like to sleep with me came into my room and hopped onto my bed with me. She helped calm me down after that.

I am a young widower (52). For complex reasons, my cat and I live with my mother. Last weekend, I was out of town. My mother does not do my laundry, but the food and water bowl is in my room. I told my mother very specifically that I left a change of dirty clothes next to his bed on my bed so she wouldn’t scoop them up and put them in the hamper. Apparently, he slept in his bed, on top of my dirty clothes all weekend.
