The Lhasa Apso is a sturdy and well balanced dog breed, with body slightly longer than tall. The average height should be between 25-28 cm, which is 10-11 inch and weight is typically between 7-8 kg, which is 15-18 pounds.

Lhasa Apso tends to be independent and bossy dog, which is why they are not the best choice for first time dog owners. On the other hand, they are very loyal and eager to please dogs.
