2023年8月、イタリアングレーハウンドとの生活が始まりました。
出会いの三カ月前に、17年一緒に過ごした愛犬が旅立ち、傷心の中で最高に可愛いイタリアングレーハウンドの女の子に出会いました。

ニアを飼い始めて30週間（7ヶ月）が経過しました。

　しかし、その癒しの存在であるニアが、夜中に突然大運動会を始めてしまい、最下級飼い主の顔や身体を蹴りながら走り回るので、体中に引っかき傷が無数にできてしまいました。最初は静まるのを待っていましたが、静まる気配がないので、布団をかけた状態で足を上げたら、ニアにクリーンヒットしてしまい、ニアがベットから転げ落ちてしまいました。
　幸い怪我はなかったものの、かなりビックリしたようで、ニアは事件後から翌朝まで落ち込んでいました。そして、同じように最下級飼い主も落ち込みながら出勤するという何ともやりきれない出来事がありました。
