Some Dogs Can Run as Fast as a Car
Most dogs are not able to overtake a car. But some breeds, such as the Greyhound and Saluki, are capable of speeds of up to 45 mph.
In the wild, for example, wild boars (30-35 mph) and ostriches (40-45 mph) are able to gain the same speed.
