Short Kishu Ken description:
The average height of the Kishu Ken should be between 43-56 cm, which is 17-22 inch and the weight is typically between 14-27 kg which is 30-60 pounds.
The Kishu Ken coat is short, straight, coarse and very dense, which helps them when hunting in harsh weather. The fur on the tail is very bushy and thick and the breed also commonly have dense feathering on the back of its legs.
