If my cat sleeps on my boyfriend's lap, he'll sprawl out on his side. If he sleeps on me (I'm usually lying down), then he'll nudge himself between my knees and sleep, or he'll stretch out from my chest to mid-thigh.
If he's sleeping on the bed alone, he's belly up on my side of the bed. If he's napping on his cat tree, he curls up. If he's on the floor, he's usually on his side with his bell exposed. If it's storming, he takes shelter in my laundry basket, or between our pillows in bed.
As someone who is allergic to cats (yes I will be getting a cat in the future, I’ll just suffer, it’s worth it), I’ve found that cats seem to like me, my friends cat (who apparently doesn’t cuddle with her family) is really cuddly with me. It’s really cute! I’ve also only been scratched like two times and those were by a less cuddly cat (my friends brothers cat) and a cat that usually likes me, I just disturbed him at the wrong time, he just went “oi. I’m tired so bonk! Away with you”
When you cat is hiding while sleeping something is wrong, or the cat doesn't feel well. Not to much of a concert tho since just like humans they just need some privacy to get well by them selfes and when hiding is over the happy kitty is back. You just have to learn to understand your feline
