I cant never convince my mother not to use the "harness" when walking our Shepard. Thankfully he's generally a very good boy and doesnt pull much and has never been aggressive towards anyone or anything but still… shes convinced it works better than a choke chain or even just a firm call
Its not a rottweiler those are African boerboels
So we have a rotty mixed with a lab and my mom has a bigger dog. I'm happy to say that our dog is well controlled and can be redirected.
Honestly I own a Rottweiler 2 years old sweet old boy the can be dangerous but are loyal to there family members and I think that it ain’t the Rottweilers fault the owner most likely the dog isn’t being treated well because a real Rottweiler if it’s owner got attacked buy another dog or animal or perhaps a human that Rottweiler would risk it’s life to save it’s owner even if it leads to the Rottweilers fate

poor things i have 3 rottweilers of my own and they do get in little fights but not serious for example they like to fight over a toy but only a playful fight. they know not to hurt eachother and we are always there in case they do get a bit aggressive

And now people will continue to believe the stereotype that all Rottweilers are aggressive when they don’t realise it’s the owner that can’t manage it and didn’t trained nor socialise the dog- plus, Harness are not the problem, they are okay for 1. Dogs with respiratory problems 2. Dogs you can manage to pull back in case something happens (so small-medium sized dogs depending on how strong you are, very few people if not no-one can possibly manage to hold back something like a Rottweiler*) 3. Properly trained and socialised dogs both on and off leash ,but even then, accidents can happen it may not even be *your dogs fault, a harness shouldn’t be on AN AGGRESSIVE REACTIVE BIG ASS DOG MOST PEOPLE CAN’T EVEN MANAGE TO HOLD BACK-

How do you introduce a new dog into a home with 4 other dogs? I had a large mastiff type, 18 mos old abandoned & the pound wants to put her down due to her breed. She's well behaved & a sweet ❤ but Huge! & is separated in the home now. Does time & slow introduction with a muzzle work? 4 females 1 older male. Any help appreciated! #Canada

I am a veterinarian. I have a rottweiler patient. The sweetest dog in the world. Very friendly with people and other dogs. The dog is very well trained. Last week he was in the yard playing with the kids. The owner forgot to close the gate. And a kangal entered in the yard. The rottweiler, being protective, ripped the kangal's face. Thanks God the owner was there to stop the fight.
