Good morning, friends and families! We hope you are well on this chilly Friday morning! We want to try something a little different today. Since we have an “open” space for a livestream, we are going to bring back the Kitchen Cam where you will be able to see our own puppies we are raising as well as some of our moms who are on their breaks. Many have been asking about our other dogs, and the easiest way would be to show you. It will be side-by-side with Robin’s puppies, who are still in our bedroom. We will turn it on prior to the Remy/Myra stream in which we sit down and play with the puppies. Especially because we often run late, we want to begin planning to start this stream well before the other stream since we like to spend time preparing for it. It’ll be a more informal stream of our other dogs, a little more “behind-the-scenes” since you will see and hear us in the kitchen.
Remy and Myra’s puppies are doing really well in the pen together. We will open it up soon for more space as Myra’s puppies adjust to the new expanded area. Remy and Myra also seem to really enjoy having their puppies together as well as each other’s company. Myra has been more apt to spend time with them when Remy is in there with her. Daisy continues to take turns, and during the night last night she woke me up to go be with them for about an hour. I’ll get a photo of how she is snuggled up with all 14 puppies for the thumbnail of their stream.
Anyway, we will be on shortly! We hope you guys are interested in the set-up we are going to try out today.
With warm hugs and cavalier kisses,
Elisabeth & Drew

Welcome to the Red Barn Cavaliers family home! We invite the families and friends of our puppies ‘into’ our home to watch their puppy thrive and grow. You are viewing some of our current Cavalier puppies. We perform all of their care on the livestream for families to see and be part of, including vaccinations, weight checks, dewormings, socialization, and so much more.
We raise Cavalier King Charles Spaniels with a proactive approach that places an emphasis on their emotional-social development. We have raised many puppies for the distinct purpose for becoming Emotional Support Animals. This breed of dog has a temperament that is ripe for therapeutic bonding, so we nurture those characteristics to help bring them out and optimize them further.
We potty train our puppies using pine pellets designed for rehydration. The timing is important because as they get older, they crawl away from their nest to potty and poop – so we want them to go to the pellets! Using this method, our puppies typically understand where to go potty within about a week of practice, and they use the potty tray on their own without guidance within about two weeks of practice. By about 6-7 weeks old, they begin waking during the night to use the potty tray.
Our young puppies are kept in our master bedroom for 24-hour observation and care. We leave the audio on so that viewers are able to hear the puppies’ vocalizations, but that means you may overhear some personal interactions. We prefer this format because we are able to easily provide context or clarity to viewers if necessary. We show you how we potty train our puppies starting as early as a week old, and how we nurture their training throughout their 8 weeks with us to hand off a well-trained puppy to their family.

I'm so excited for the kitchen cam! I love watching how your females interact and how different their personalities and mannerisms are.
Can't believe how grown up Mocha is. And, my heart be still, I got to see Paris ❤
Do the dynamics change a lot when Missy (alpha) is in the kitchen?
