Loyal and smart, you have a friend for life. I miss mine every day.
Mad max would be the name I give if I had one
Exactly the right complement to the Australian work ethic. And typically stubborn about it.
I've had both, a blue heeler and a red heeler. Smartest dogs that I've ever seen. Loving and never head strong attitudes. 👍
If he so smart why ride upside down and backwards in a car?
Love it
What is going through the one dogs head?
I have one and they're a handful so do some research and thinking before considering one
They love to bite though, not me so I love them anyway
I have had 4 of them, Great dogs. Natural born killer's an don't mess with their owners have seen my last one destroy dogs 4 times bigger than he was.
I remember a story read by my one of my elementary school teachers. The only thing I remember about the story was the cowboy and his Australian cattle dog. The dog was able to bite the upper lip of a cow, then flip over, forcing the cow to twist its neck and fall to the ground. Don't know how true that is, but it sounds plausible.
For driving cattle?
Had one. Man I miss that dog.
Looks like what Cross Timbers Bison has
This is the type of dog I have! Though she is mixed with a chihuahua!
Dogs from Australia SHOULD be upside down
Also one of the longest living dog breeds.
Is no one going to talk about the one with the bone looking thing stuck in his head?!
The biggest tire popping dogs around, will also bite your calves if their energy is not released.
They literally: I just wanna party, I just, I just wanna party.
#I am Australian…These dogs also Hop like a Kangaroo…. You forgot to mention….
I guess I got the short stick with mine… even doggy training didn't work with him…
My 2nd Australian red Heeler is training me know at 7 months. Aussie Jeff Moore
I had a Blue Healer as a best friend for 13 years. His name was Bullet, these dogs are the smartest friendly breads around. RIP Bullet.
Seriously, this is not a dog for lazy people.
That squishy face on that first guy who the fugg hit him with that book
My first dog was an Aussie Shepherd!! I had him 18 years!! Smarter than me!! He herded deer, a peacock, seals, crabs, me!! He loved the water!! I will miss him forever!! Rest in peace, Moose…
An they look and feel much better when their tails haven’t been stolen from someone
There's something special about herding dogs 🐕
😊alert and eager
It's funny everyone understands dog breeds can be more intelligent than other breeds but as soon as we mention the black IQ……. here come the cry babies 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Amazing breed. My grandfather had 2.
I had an Australian Cattle dog for about 13 years. She was one of the LAZIEST dogs I've ever had. We even tried to get her toys and go on walks. She just wanted her bones and naps. She was a sweetie.
We also had another one before her that was so energetic, my dad had to work with her for hours a day just to let out some energy.
I now have a corgi and she's almost a perfect mix of those two
Loved my boy, and he loved riding on the tractor with me
I had one & that was one of smartest dogs i have ever seen i still miss him he is buried in my back yard 🥺
