Of course they are. I think there are a lot of well, idiots out there, who believe their mixed breeds are full cattle dog. When I see them, it's obvious they aren't. Yours clearly are, but it's nice to have validation. Jackie is now going nuts with your two in the frame…lol. She does that when Yellowstone is playing with horses and cows. She is a true cow dog.
My comment is irrelevant to your video, but I have one question only. Is it normal for German Shepard female dog for hair fall. We bath her once in a month and even after there is so much hairfall. Is there anything you advise or suggest ? Btw I love your videos and all thanks blaze, We know about because of him
My dog is 30% ACD, yet looks less like an ACD than two close relatives of hers (on Embark, but they’re local, so maybe we’ll meet someday) who are only 25% ACD. Same is true of my pup’s littermates, because none of them have the full “prick ears,” they have “rose ears.” But her behavior so far at 6 months is 100% ACD. 😆. Alex, your girls are SO PRETTY!
Thats reassuring because our Willow looks a lot like gypsy in shape and size and we got her from a rescue so we were never 100% sure lol. Like you said, it doesn't really matter but it helps to be confident against the nay-sayers!
Lol I had someone mention to me that my Lulu wasn't full heeler because of her blue eye, omg I laughed and laughed and had to tell him I have paperwork that states different. 5 more days till Sully u would b getting excited. Can't wait to see him
I adopted my red heeler from a shelter, and I’m 99% sure he’s not pure cattle dog, but I’d love to know what else he is. Whatever, it’s a winning combination to me!!
Update. The Dogtra Vibrate collar and hem springer collar gave me the dog I expected. It is a night and day difference in her behavior. She wears both during the day..
First time using, I accidentally pushed the timms button instead of the vibrate button with command "OFF" when she jumped on couch. She now knows that word and obeys immediately … no longer have to deal with jumping on me or people, on the counter, table, etc. All I have to say, "OFF."
Haven't figure how to correct biting hand since I need one to push the hands free button. It seems that is the hand she mouths. It is a two person job … one that gets bite and one to push button to correct. LOL.
She is still stubborn outside and will endure the vibrate to not come when called. I have upped it two notches, then she may come. I fuss over her with a treat when she obeys … it is still a challenge.
Potty training was a breeze and she now barks at door. If I don't respond quick enough, she pounces on it making a loud thump … I definitely can hear that. I have tuned out her barking since she is very vocal and started barking at me for no reason I can figure out. Already took potty, fed, water, ?????
Our pepper Lou has unique a coat and then our Zoe Grace is a bit taller than average and people always have something to say about them both 🥴🤦🏻♀️ they’re both ACD but have their own traits from their parents
I love seeing your beautiful girls! When we got ACD Kalina the breeder asked us if we wanted to have a DNA test done and we did, it came back 1000% ACD and her family line is all 100% ACD.. We didn’t care what the results came back as, we just fell in love with her either way… Only a few more days until Sully comes home! I can’t wait to see him and all of the videos you’re going to be doing!! 💙
How much do your girls weigh? I have a cattle dog mix, if she wasn’t so small I would say she looks like a purebred ACD. She’s 7 months old and weighs approx 25 pounds.
