  1. The cat that showed up in my yard was just a small kitten in freezing weather and all alone. She was terrified of me but hungry. I finally got her to stay in the garage but she quickly did the other cat thing and several months later I now have 4 small kittens and her 😂 … well… I intend to get them to come back in the house and it is starting to work I believe. All of the kittens are now coming for scratches and momma is coming in for short visits but taking longer to go back out. I never planned on 1 much less 5! 😂❤❤❤❤❤

  2. I have 3 cats: a5 yr old female seal point mink bicolor, a 3 yr old traditional blue point and a 21 wk old Maine Coon kitten. Introductions have been harder this time than ever before and we've introduced lots of cats. Peace and harmony will come. Love my brushing time with all 3 – very peaceful. Litter box scooping – not my favorite thing but hey- it has to be done. You get used to it. The pros of these 3 beautiful babies definitely outweigh the cons.

  3. I have followed this channel since your wonderful ragdolls were small kittens❤. The only thing I miss in this great video is an emphasis on having two cats instead of one. I know you have another video on this topic. However, I think it is such an important issue that it ought to be mentioned in this one as well. All the Best and ❤ from a long time Ragdoll owner, Carin in Sweden.

  4. Always a pleasure seeing Teemo and Arya. They have kept me going when my heart had been shattered this past year.

After saying goodbye to all four of our senior kitties within a nine month span, we’ve welcomed a young Bengal boy, Keanu Ku’uipo to our home. He’s unfortunately cat aggressive so he will be our sole furry family member.

As such I now must rely on my foster network to take in the Bengal kitties I rescue.

  5. My mom will not let me get a ragdoll, she says no, I cry every night, and beg all day, and all they say is no, I showed her your videos, she said no, do you have anything to help them say yes?

  6. I've had cats before and I know a lot about them but I learned some new things from this video
    Hi Arya and Temo 🙂🐾🐾🐾🐾❤️❤️

  7. @The Cat Butler..ok I have big question: How the heck u clean theyr cat tree with those plasctic leafes from dust? I was thinking that its awesome but cleaning it must be pain

  8. We have 2 Ragdoll cats. Comments – yes they are good at killing insects in the house however that means they jump onto the blinds if a fly gets there, which damages the blinds, not great. You are also tied with house cats regarding ensuring they can't go outside or through windows, it is a bit of a burden; you can't go out and spend a night away as their litter needs cleaning twice a day. They like water, like a running tap. They clawed at the carpet for their first year but have not stopped that (phew!).

They are adorable, affectionate, lovable, we love the little darlings and they are good company. As they are from the same litter; they play fight each day which is good for exercise!

Make sure you stop them coming in when you go to the toilet or they will try to get in the bowl!!

  9. Love cats! Couldn't live without them! But one of the cons is puking cats. It's not always about furballs. Especially male cats. It seems so ineffective to give them the "low magnesium" food. They seem to get overall worse and it doesn't solve the problem. A real solution would be nice.

  10. Cats are the best. I love my three boys, so much! Another great video. I love watching Teemo and Arya. They are so sweet 😊

  11. I am hoping to get ragdolls as soon as I can once I'm out of college because I have had depression all my life and though my situation is better now, I often find myself feeling lonely and sad during college as making friends can be hard and even as an introvert, you still need some social interaction. Ragdolls are expensive and I would like to know if it's because they're human bred cats? Some human bred animals have issues such as pugs and I think the cats with real tiny ears. I know animals can get expensive but I would like to get them shortly after I graduate, probably within six months to a year. What health issues did you have with Arya and Teemo? Do you also suggest ragdolls as first cats to own or store/adoption ones? Since this will be the first time I own cats, I really want to give them the best life possible. Thank you!

  12. I did 2 years of research and spreadsheet all the information I thought needed before adopting a kitten and it was the most horrible experience. Poor baby cried and cried the first night and while the breeder assured me it was normal I still took him home because I felt bad that he was hurting (came from a big family/household with a lot of cats). Even though I WFH and can give 90% of my time to a kitten it wasn't enough. People aren't joking when they say get two. Going to wait awhile and prepare more and probably get an adult in a couple years.

Unfortunately probably won't be a ragdoll since you don't find those as adults often unless it's a retired queen (from what I've heard).

  13. Hello, thank you for this video 🙂 As I´ve never owned cat before, I would like to ask one additional question about pros and cost, which is about sleep. If or how cat in your household (especially in smaller apartment) could affect your sleep quality? Dont get me wrong, sleeping with your kitty seem like a wonderful experience, however Im little bit worried if cats arent constantly waking you up during night or in early morning or they arent overdemanding of your attention when your sleep in separate rooms. Thanks!

  14. I love your channel. It helped me alot with my handling my cat (a lovely british shorthair). Are you planning to do more cat breeds videos? It is such a good series with amazing production value 👏

  15. I love all animals. I have 4 cats and a dog. when I first got a cat I thought it`d be like having a small dog I soon learned they are differnt. people portry cats as being selfish and alof but its not true they are actually very loving and playful

  16. CB this was a great video, and you are spot-on that our cats can be there for us in tough times. Austen and Jasper were tuned in to my recent health situation before I was! I had to peel Jasper off me, and then he would lurk around waiting for his next opportunity to climb back on me. When I would wake up from a nap, he was right there. Cats also can get along well with other animals. Aussie and Jasper’s baby sister Dachshund, Hildy, who came home when the boys were 4 months old, was immediately accepted and my little trio are all best friends. Siamese are very “doggy” and I have had them successfully wrangle a Weimaraner, Two Springer Spaniels, and now a Standard Smooth Dachshund! I will stop gushing over my fur kids now! Austen and Jasper send their best to Arya and Temo! Hugs, Michael Albuquerque NM USA

  17. Another great video! My husband and I are seniors, and decided about fifteen years ago when our last cat died, that were no longer going to get pets since we got into traveling as well as our grandchildren. With our grandchildren growing up, going to college, and becoming teenagers, (coupled with all of the hassles of travel) – we reversed our decision and got a pure bred rag doll a year ago on the fourth of July! He is EVERYTHING you said, and makes us laugh, as well as gives us love daily! Although we love dogs and cats, we will stick with our Maestro rag doll for all the reasons you cited! Both of your rag dolls are absolutely beautiful. Ours is a blue point neutered boy!

  18. i want to get a cat😺 and this wants me to get a cat more and i want to name one todd and hi temo and arya👋

  19. Cats are wonderful companions. My old guy, Lemon, has been with me for 12+ years and the youngster, Ella, for 1 year. I love them both.

  20. Lol 'music to your ears' until one of them repeatedly tells you for an hour they are bored but have no interested in actually playing at present. Go take a nap already cat!

Admittedly we've only had our boys for a little more than six months. . .but I'm already laughing at people that say you can't train a cat. We're still working on graduating to a response with JUST a verbal cue. . .but my boys are learning bit by bit with every session we do. It helps they both absolutely LOVE the treats I've found for them.

  21. Lovely cats! I'm lucky enough to live where my cats can go outdoors any time. They come and go as they please through their cat doors. The litter box is used only when it is storming outside!

  22. You don't need an alarm clock if you own a cat. My cat wakes me up at 4:00 am everyday, so my day starts early, and I get a lot of things done.

  23. There are times when cats can be high maintenance too, especially when you have more than one furball, it becomes a bit daunting to be cleaning their litter boxes.

I own 3, so I have 4 littwr boxes to maintain. I use degradeable natural wood pellets instead of sand for litter. I sift away the used and broken ones daily, and wash and clean them out totally every week, as cats are fastiduously clean and don't like using filthy litter boxes. So I make sure the cat lines that absorb their urine are also replaced regularly as needed.

But yes, it sure beats the hell out of taking your dog out for a walk to do his #1 or #2 outside, which came be pleasant on very hot poor cold days.

  24. Me and my family found a rag doll cat online and it was 300$ and yes it seems expensive but my mom said we can have it if my dad says so and u wouldn’t believe what he said he literally said that it was a scam and they won’t give it to us and just take my family is money
