      It's so sad everyone says there amazing dogs but I have never met one that didn't want to kill everyone in sight for existing.

      I would love to have one a short haired German Shepherd. I used to have one when I was a kid and it was the best dog a person could ever have.

      I loved my German shepherd when I had him, he lived all the way to the age of 16 even then he didn't pass till I visited him for the last time. Note at the time me and my family were living with my grandma on my dad's side, and she doesn't like pets so I had to leave my dog with my grandma on my mom's side. I was sad that I couldn't see my dog everyday but I was excited when we did go visit him, hell when I knew he reached his prime I was ready to say goodbye and apparently he was to because the last day I was with him he literally laid down in my lap and just stayed there letting me pet him and talk to him for hours till he finally stopped breathing. I couldn't stop crying after I lost him he was the best dog I could have asked for and I loved him to the end. May you rest in peace Coco.

      There are bigger, stronger dogs that can excell at guarding , thete are breeds that can work harder at certain things but hands down the gsd is by the greatest utility dog ever and can just about anything and can be taught to do what some breeds are only specific for. They dont have to be taught to protect , they excell at just about anything and they love kids. My kids are well protected
