Yesterday we found this emaciated Doberman, we named him Albus Dumbledore. He breaks our heart.
The little tail wag..
Poor guy is in horrible shape. We’re hoping it’s not cancer, but we’ll run all the tests to see what he needs. He has a big, open tumor, upper respiratory, and no appetite. We’re so thankful for the kind humans who helped us find him! He was so ready to get help. www.strayrescue.org

  1. I cried watching this video -this is absolutely deplorable & enrages me if this poor dog was taken from someone. If he was just living on the streets that’s so tragic also 🤦‍♀️ I love animals and honestly like them more than most people and when I see things like this it’s heartbreaking and kills me but it also makes me feel better, happy and thankful there are good people rescues etc and volunteers who save these poor defenseless creatures who can’t speak or care for themselves! However I still think and am angered by the little and basic LACK of animal rights and laws put in place or actually used or followed by people that abuse animals it infuriates me to no end! I pray 🙏 eventually sooner then later this issue will be taken as serious as any other law/s. Lastly when I was a teenager and early adult my family had a Doberman he was the sweetest kindest dog so seeing this brought back memories and makes me hope this poor sweetheart pulls through and gets healthy without any serious health problems or long term issues. ❤ Thank you Stray Rescue Of St Louis for your selfless work!

  2. It broke my heart to see this (and every other) dog, in such terrible shape. No dog deserves this ,so thank you very much for helping him ❤️. I believe that somewhere out there, there's a good mom or dad that's waiting for him to come home . I'm praying for him 🙏🏻 😔 Please keep us updated on his health 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

  7. There was an update on this guy posted to the Facebook recently — he is still quite thin but has made an amazing recovery! He almost looks like a normal Dobe, and his tan/blue coloration is become more apparent. Very beautiful dog, I hope he gets the home he deserves! If only I lived closer <3
