So how is your Doberman going to act AFTER he gets neutered? In this video, I’ll tell you what behavior changes I saw in my Doberman Arlo after he got neutered, what other Doberman owners are seeing in their dogs, and what some of the best research and studies say is likely to change! This video will unequivocally answer that question of how your Doberman is going to behave after neutering, in the best way we can currently. Will neutering fix behavior issues like aggression, sexual behaviors, marking, and barking? What about separation anxiety? Also, did you know there’s a way to temporarily neuter your Doberman to see how they’re going to react? We talk about all that in this week’s video!

In your video about the best age to neuter a doberman you recommended 18-24 months. But you actually neuter yours at 13-14 months. Can you please explain why? I have a 4 month European Doberman, that is why I am so interested in the topic. Love your vids 😀
fake dog lovers will crop and chop their boys and girls for idiotic reasons. Better to leave them alone than keeping them in your homes as a mutilated creature.
How many of those experts warn about thyroid related problems? Just curious…
You basically age them by doing this. It's really convenient how everything is positive. I have saw dogs get uti after uti , almost no energy , getting fat because the damage to hormone balance etc
The Increase in fear of others leads to them being more likely to bite someone I know this because we had a dog that would never bite but after she got her surgery she gave me a awesome bite on my hand randomly.
I find alot of neutered males are aggressive towards intact males
My Bushido was right around 24 months old when he had to be neutered do to an abscessed prostate. Had to take him to an emergency vet then transferred him to another vet. $3500 later my boy was alive and back home with his brother, an American Staffordshire Terrier (Chance). I have never seen two dogs get along so well. His demeanor remained the same was never aggressive. I walked him 3-4 times a day and tried to introduce him as many as people as possible. Sadly I lost him at around 8 do to unknown reason. I will tell you this, I know he lived and respected me enough that he crawled in bed and died at my side. Greatest dog ever and I miss him dearly.

We had a GSD and had him fixed because he was aggressive to the point of being dangerous, our Vet thought this was going to be a huge help. Unfortunately it didn’t help at all and I think it made him worse, he was truly a handful, but I can say I keep him from biting people and took great care when people were around 💙
Well, you take off all the hormones and personality of the dog
Neutering just makes them lazy and fat. Esp when they get older. Dont do it. Buy a poodle if thats what you want.
Why do you guys wear your outside shoes inside ? Its messed up
Never neuter a male dog. There’s no medical argument whatsoever. If you want a male dog, especially a Doberman, make sure you have full time to train him. Otherwise you better get a Chihuahua, preferably a female 😂
With so few Dobermans available and lack of genetic variance neutering will lead to even more genetic issues because less dogs will be used for breeding to meet the demand
I just recently started putting my doberman puppy in day care for more socialization (4 months with all shots), and all the dog daycare around my area require all dogs to be neutered after 6months old. Isnt it too early to get my doberman neutered once he hits 6 months old?
Our Doberman was fantastic – until it had it's jewels cut off at 13-months. Shortly thereafter it became very aggressive towards everyone including me. Never abused, always loved. Yet bit mu face when i slowly leaned in to kiss it on the forehead. We had to give him up, very sad situation, but it went to another home with no kids. Was still aggressive there. Never a hint of this before he was 'fixed.' Look it up, this is actually common in dogs, it just is not the political thing to spread.
He lost his soul. Just a shell of his former self.
I had my huge, absolutely beautiful Doberman, from major championship lines neutered when he was 13 months old. The only difference after being neutered was that he no longer leg-humped, nor did he shove his snout into cute girls' crotches on the street. He was super-intelligent, schutzhund trained, and loved running and playing soccer. If anyone would have broken into the house, facing him would be like jumping into the Nile River full of crocodiles. I have had two miniature pinschers neutered, and they were just as feisty fun little biting (me) brats as ever, with unlimited energy through their elderly years. Unless you have are a high-quality professional breeder, you are doing your male canine a favor by neutering. With their walnuts in tact, they are like the horny sailors and merchant marines in past eras. Would any of you dudes want to be constantly horny, with no chance of an outlet, other than someone's leg?
Neutering your pet is like having your child's balls removed for being a child and making a mess at home….how can people justify this thing, think about youself if your father has taken away your ability to have sex or children because he was annoyed of your childish behaviour…..it's just total cruelty to animals …….
gay move
The doberman we used to have got neutered at 9 years old because he was a rescue from a shelter, he became kind of quieter and a bit lazier after neutering. He was lethargic after the surgery tho, didn't really eat well for a few days but vet said its normal. Unfortunately he passed away 2 years after that for health reasons.
