  2. u cant really tell what a bassets thinking when u look at them cuz they always look sad..an there not really stubborn they just want to do there own thing there the only breed who thinks there human lol

  3. A dog is a dog and every dog is eager to become your best friend, and being your best friend is his/her task in life to make your life complete!. A dog will always love you regardless of your wealth and "beauty".
I will never forget the day when I got my first Basset Hound and the breeder told me: DOGS ARE THE ONLY FRIENDS YOU CAN BUY! So much wisdom and truth in her words!
Who needs false and fake friends when you can share your life with a Basset Hound?

  4. I have had a beagle and a basset, and I hate to be a chooser, but it’s true that nothing is better than a basset. Bassets are like living with a funny best friend trapped in a dogs body. You won’t go one day without being cuddled and you won’t go one day without smiling/laughing!

  5. I have had both breeds. This is a choice between silver and gold, basically what you like. But as far as I am concerned, these are the best two breeds for a pet, hands down.

  6. I’ve had beagles when I was a kid and I have a basset now. I’m biased towards the basset because I’m a busy busy man, and my sweet little droopy is my perfect little lazy companion who is right on the couch where I left him when I come home from work. And he’s too short to jump on the kitchen counter.
