    This is Austonley Irish Wolfhounds a day in the life video, giving a brief insight in to what a day can look like for us. From 5:30am walks, to feeding 13 of our four-legged companions, it’s certainly a handful but we couldn’t be happier!

      I once was doing a service call at a customer house when I walked in the house . When this huge thing came from around the corner it blow my mind away how big that dog was I asked the owner what kind of dog is that he said it's a wolfhound . Truly a beautiful dog it's a one of a kind. You have to see one in person to really know how big they are

      This had me close to tears.
      Just magic. To see these historic beasts together. Out in the wild forest. Transported me to old england/Ireland.
      Majestic. Rare. A breathtaking dog with a magic history. Thank you for this. Just beautiful. X

      We realized that we rescued a Wolfhound / Deerhound. Still uncertain which one but he looks so similar to these. He was rescued from pound around 2 months and was missing a tail. Until he grew we thought he was a gisnt schnauzer. He is now almost 7 months and resembles these wirey beauties. I hope to learn more about his care and food. He has a big golden/bullador mix sister and they play hard… crazy lab temperament is sortof nice with chill hound pup but do tell me if we should be concerned. She is an older pup 1.5yesrs.

      My standard poodle/shepherd mix could pass for a wolfhound although despite his size he's probably a little smaller.
