In this video I got over how to determine if you have a real American Pitbull terrier. I often see bull-breed owners and some other mixed dog owners say they have a American pitbull terrier which is not the case most of the time. The APBT is often confused with American Staffordshire terriers, Staffordshire bull terriers, and American Bully’s. I go over the UKCs breed standard on the original Pitbull and it’s best to get your dog tested on what breed they are.

I have American Bully mix wid American Pitbull n he's currently 2 months
I have an American Pitbull Terrier and mix between an American pitbull terrier and the Doberman
I have a question. I have two pups. They just turned 6 months.
Thier parents are buckskin colored, however the 13 pup litter all came out blue except ONE.
I got one that is triple colored blue, fawn and buckskin and he’s a bit short, sort of front bow legged and looks like he will be short and stocky (when I say multicolored, I hear most call them brindle if that’s how you spell it). He’s very busy and likes to play a lot!
The second one, his brother, was the only light colored almost blond (he’s even lighter than parents), red nose, has softer but still very short hair, he has diamond like eyes (sort of like the one in the video with the very light eyes) but he’s taller than brother and not as defined in build. He looks sort of slinky right now. He also has a much different temperament too. He’s not as busy and is a lap dog that wants to loved on hard.
None of them likes other dogs and have been challenging even bigger dogs since little pups lol.
They had papers on dad but the mom they got from someone.
They look like pit bulls based on the video, but then reading the comments about the blue pits threw me off.

for me its all bs,i looked to all the videos off famous pitbullbreeders,out off the time this dogs were fighting,this dogs where not a special purebreed,they were a mix off anything,they looked different,like al the breeds called something with fighting dogs,its bs to now 100 80years later to call something the ,,real,, pitbull

95% of people dont know what a true APBT is…Don't listen to the Vets are people at rescue places…They call anything a "Pitbull".

I'm thinking that My Rescue is pure bred but I have to get her checked because she has some health issues and her vet has said that she is an American Pit Bull Terrier and she is what they called a Blue Nose Pit Bull
My first question is about the ears of a true pitbull some hang down n others point half way up and hang. Info please
i have friends who say when in doubt…… put it in a pit you will for sure know if you have pitbull
