Dog Product Review – Symphony Scissors/JL Sharp Shop

This video is reviewing scissors for all dog groomers, especially what we recommend from the Symphony line. Thanks to Johnathan Lytle, of JL SharpShop, for providing us scissors and thinning shears to test for the last 3 weeks. The Symphony shears are finished in Fremont, Ohio and developed by Ramon Eickert who combined modern materials with old school German technology & workmanship to come up with a leading edge tool that will cut clean, move smooth and last. The new “Fit Grip” handles are the most comfortable on the market. Its designed to return your hand to its most relaxed (natural) position It reduces wrist and thumb fatigue and is ideal for anyone who scissors over a long period of time. The Dual Finger Rest (DFR) tools (also known as Flipper) allow the tool to be flipped and it will feel the same in your hand which ever way you hold it. In a blender, this allows the user to either use the tool “comb up” to rough up the coat a little or “comb down” to produce a more natural look. in the case of a curve, the DFR allows the user to either cut into the coat or to cut away from the coat.
