Other Rottie, or any type of dog owners that thinks this if cute, is looking for accidents waiting to happen. That growl, bark, nip, thing is absolutely OUT. Even approaching with mouth open and teeth bared. I had and accidental collision with the back of my hand and one of my Rotties canines. I was rough housing with her and she was just breathing.
The back of my hand collided with the tooth so hard that it left the dent from the tooth, didn't break the skin, but I thought I broke my hand. HURT!?! My whole hand hurt and turned completely black & blue. It wasn't her fault. A dog is allowed to play like this and a mouth collision happens with a non family member, it's a bite. A Rottweiler bite. Nope!
Not going to put my dogs in that kind of danger. That behavior is for toys, not a human's hand or any other body part.
