  1. The second dog your wrong about. My grandpa had one. The dog was so loving and caring. And the dog acted normal around strangers unless they were a threat. Overall the dog was easy to take care of

  2. I have two bloodhounds and they smell great all the time so this is cap I recommend one nice dogs

  3. What do you think of the Australian shepherd dog breed? Me,11 years old had been asking for one since I was 9 although I’m not sure if it is a good idea since I have a Great Dane and a beagle and the Great Dane is really aggressive towards the beagle, what do you think?

  4. This guy doesn't have a fucking clue about dogs. By this count every single dog bread is not recommended.

  5. I have an Akita. It’s a life changer. Can’t have people over while he’s inside, can’t have kids over, have to keep him on a lead in the yard even with a locked fence. He’s big and strong enough to get out of someone comes too close to the fence. Biiuuuttttt. That’s MY BABY!!!! Protects the house and the family. Great with my daughters, I feel completely secure leaving for work knowing he won’t let anything get close to the house. He has different barks for people, animals, warnings, or if he wants to come inside. Best dog ever, but definitely a handful. I think he’s my last large dog.

  6. My friend has an Akita and I had to bond with him quiet early or else the dog would bark and growl at me. That dog now trusts me with his life.

  7. My brother had 2 Japanese Akitas. They were very well trained, not agressive with people, great with family and friends, but small animals and other dogs would be toast. Great dogs. Miss them both. I would have an Akita again if it was like them, but…

  8. Yeah, blood hound brains are split into two areas: smell, and yell. If they smell anything, they yell. Nothings can train them to not do those two things. They will give themselves third degree burns from a shock collar before they stop barking

  9. MY Aunt and Uncle had an Akita and this dog was an absolute tank. Had to walk him with a chain and leather gloves. It was abused before they got him and wouldn't let kids come near him (kids threw rocks at him) I was the only kid besides my little cousin that could pet him because I was a big kid lol. I would walk him as a teenager for football workouts. You had to be alert when walking this dog. He could pull a monster truck tire filled with cement.
