  1. One of my most rewarding times with my 10 mo. old Gus is when I realized how behaved he is on leash. Always on my left calf with an occasional nudge of his nose letting me know he's still there with all the slack in his leash. Training pays off!

  2. Your vids helped so much during that early stage with my blue heeler. Kind of fitting that they return to save the day as he gets to that rebellious fase.

  3. Again, a great video. I suspect the pack keeps your pups well behaved. Your girls look so sweet. My 15.5 week pup looks about their size. How much do you think your pups weigh?

Received yesterday my Dogtra vibrate collar. Will let you know how it turns out after a week or two using. So far using it for eliminating bad behavior before I tackle training. (For those not knowing why, I have a wild unruly biting extremely difficult pup).

A set back last night when I took off the Hem Sprenger collar to replace with the vibrate collar before walking my pup. Just as we were about to enter the house, she bolted again into the house after the cat. The vibrate collar stopped her in her tracks from seriously attacking the cat. I was unable to diffuse the situation as I was doubled over paralyzed in pain from being slammed into the metal glass sliding door frame. I was able to push the transmitter's button when I heard the cat screaming. My pup did a quick U-turn and sat in front of me waiting. Had I not had that vibrate collar on her, who knows if she would have seriously harmed the cat.

I am going to have to rethink how to enter the house. Perhaps make her sit outside until I am safely inside before allowing her to enter.

Again, love your videos and look forward to seeing you and your pack to glean wisdom in dealing with my pup.

Her strength is at the point of being able to drag me on the ground. I have seen those videos where dogs are dragging their owners on the ground, not stopping, running full speed after a critter. I would be those individuals not letting go in fear of loosing her.

  4. Do any of your puppies do the “Breading, bread kneading behavior” like the cats do? Mines does and I find it so funny 😂

  5. We just got a blue heeler and I'm in love with this breed! I totally understand now why you have so much love I honestly keep thinking how is my 5 month old puppy so darn smart!! I love him ❤️

  6. Around what age do they have their growth spurt?
I’m a new Heeler owner as my Chihuahua passed away 2days after my birthday.

He’s 7 weeks now and i love him with all my heart. ♥️
I keep seeing they vary between 32-60 Pounds for Male but I’ve seen some people say theirs was 75pounds,
and some videos looks like it’s true.
None of yours look nearly as big and i was wondering how heavy your dingos are? Thanks!

  7. Great video! We just put our 10 week old pup Kalina on a leash and she went crazy.. We have been going out everyday for about 15 minutes to practice but she wants to bite the leash and I’m trying to get her to stop that.. I can’t wait to see how you work with Sully on leash walking. ❤️

  8. Alex, this was helpful to Elli and me. Elli is a puppy mill survivor (a mama of many) and American Eskimo dog. She has a true terror of the leash. Fortunately, she also has a true passion for treats. So following your example, I took her out to the yard for a few minutes with leash and treats, with the goal just being to have her come to me while on the leash (Her instinct is to try to escape from whoever is holding the leash. The leash must have been used for very bad things in her past.) As long as the treats kept flowing, she was able to tolerate the exercise. We'll be back at it tomorrow, and every day. My ultimate goal is to be able to take normal walks with her!

  9. Thank you! I am still working on my 9 month old. He's pretty good about not pulling, but I haven't figured out how to stop the barking. "Hey mom! There's a bird! Hey mom! There's a car!" I know it drives my neighbors crazy. I do have a question about separation anxiety though. He really has a hard time being separated from me. We have him on calming chews, so he doesn't run around as manic as before, but he still whines and cries the whole time i'm gone. How do you tackle this?

  10. Just curious, do you have an trails where you can let them go loose? I know you have a fenced in yard. I'm just being nosey. LOL. Fergus acts like me looking for cappuccinos!
