Basenji Dog Puppies
The Basenji dog breed, which originated in Africa, was born in the Congo. These canines hunt by scent and sight, and were originally used to push small animals into hunters’ nets to lower village rat infestations. These days, they also make fantastic, lovable furry family members.
Despite being purebred dogs, Basenjis can be found in shelters or in the care of rescue organizations. Consider adopting if you believe this is the breed for you.
