Staffies can actually do well in all climates they just need longer to adapt. They are also pretty versatile swimmers so the myths are false!
I personally don’t agree with the ranking of this breed in the states a lot of he so call dog lovers don’t know their dog breeds and labeling everything a pitbull even the shelters does it
Missed a few. 1) I have about 3000lb of pressure on little needle paws and I will trample you for fun. 2) I can't bark. I can only squeak. 3) I will be as dramatic as possible at all times including telling total strangers that I'm starting to death in order to get food. 4) bushes are like fog and run through just as easily. 5) frogs are terrifying for no reason at all. 6) I run sideways because I am a fat little barrel and you cant stop me. 7) 2 legs good, 4 legs dead, unless I have a ball. It's my ball, not letting go. 8) the 4 legs rule may be disregarded and picked up again at any time for any reason. I dont know why either. 9) your child is now my child and I will lick its face off. 10) all shoes must die, no exception. 11) you'll miss me for the rest of your life when I'm gone

Alot of yanks like to cut ears too. Annoying as hell. ❤️ my lad chocco best thing in my life. Great video
Absolutely spot on is this. If anyone wants to know about staffs this is a good one. Off for walkies now. Everyday is worth waking up for with a staffy in the 🏠
This is so funny because you are so WRONG. The APBT were actually Staffordshire bull terrier brought to america by the Irish immigrants. In England there were more then one type of SBT dogs. The Irish blood lines were bigger in size then the dogs of other parts of England. So the immigrants kept this trait of their dogs. If you look at a pure bred APBT, they are smaller lighter and much more agile then what is today considered Pitbulls, and are of much resemblance to the Irish blood line SBT.
Great video
BEST BREED BLATANTLY
BEST OF BRITISH
My American staffshire terrer is 15 years old. Lazy over Wright my fault. I have limited walking. And she is fix and well lazy.
I will inform you of staffs , having had 2 , brother ans sister, for close on 14 years , LOVE,LOYALTY, AND UTTER DEVOTION , WITH MY 4 CHILDREN , FACT RIP 🙏 BONNIE AND CLYDE, FOREVER LOVED AND MISSED
We have a staffy that is about 7 years old. I can attest to just about everything in the video. She is absolutely the sweetest little dog I have ever had. (and I have had quite a few over the course of my long life). She is super intelligent, to the point where it is almost eerie. She looks at you sometimes and you think she understands everything going on around her to the point where she could start up a conversation with you. 😄
We were keeping one a girl three years old to try to break her of the habit of darting out the door when it is opened.
She was so sweet and lovable and loved to cuddle and sit on my feet.she also loved rope toys that I held while she growled and shook the you
Why isn't the set of the ears ever mentioned as an obvious distinguishing feature of the SBT compared to pitbulls! Staffies have folded ears. Pitties ears are shorter and sit sharp.
0:59 And the fact that they look nothing alike. Their heads are completely different their bodies are different too amstaffS can get a lot heavier than staffordshire bull terrier
Thank you very much for the information. never to old to learn new facts about the breed 👍best breed in the world. 🐾♥️
My staffy doesn't like people he's real weary ever since birth he's always been aggressive thats why i kept him nobody comes up my driveway.
I love staffords
This is an EXCELLENT video. Very accurate.
I would have added that as well as not liking the heat, they don’t like the cold or the rain either! They’re total babies!!!
this video has a 10/10 on the info!! I love my little baby boy Cain 2,5 years old at this time. He's my first dog that I own myself (aka not the family dog)
I can say he's changed me as a person. <3
STAFFIES r brilliant
My daughter as a baby was able to poke, annoy and crawl all over my staffy and he never even so much as growled or even showed he was bothered, he simply put up with it, he showed resilience & patience at a much higher level than even most human beings can, but he will protect her, even from me and I’m the master of the house. My daughter is now 9, dog is 8. Brilliant breed of dog, best I’ve ever come across.
I've always had a staffy in my life and they are definitely a nanny dog! Staffies will always have a place in my heart
I need one we just had to put her down cancer
Staffies need human contact, they love nothing more than lying beside or preferably on their human and getting a fuss. If this is going to be a problem for you, don't get one. If not they make an incredible member of your family. Because they love people so much they suffer badly from separation anxiety.
The Staffordshire Bull terrier is THE finest breed of all. They are a noble, highly intelligent, ultra loyal breed, and they adore their owners. Make no mistake though, Staffordshires are extremely courageous- utterly fearless and they can be ferocious if they are called upon to defend themselves, or those they love. Eg When I was 13 in 1983, I was exercising my 9 month old Staffy, Ben on the large sports field of my school. Liverpool FC footballer Graham Souness lived in close proximity to the school, he owed two fully grown adult Alsatians. He had been out walking his dogs- off the lead, and as he turned into his driveway, one of his dogs, 'Suki,' spied my dog Ben running on the field chasing his ball. The first thing I saw, was Graham's Alsatian burst out of the trees and shrubs that lined the perimeter of the field. Suki had jumped over a sandstone wall, about 4 feet in height. I observed Suki race in towards Ben, at a 90 degree angle to his own direction of travel. It was immediately apparent to me that the Alsatian had aggressive intentions, I was fearful of my dog being injured- at only 9 mths old, he was far from fully developed. I need not have worried! As the Alsatian closed in to attack, I saw Ben's rear legs kick, he propelled himself like a missile and malleted Suki with his head- beneath the right side of the dog's jaw. I still have a vivid image in my mind of Suki being launched into the air by the force of the impact. Ben had been sprinting flat out at the time, so he had considerable momentum. The sound of the impact was a loud crack- just like the sound a cricket bat makes when it strikes the ball hard. Suki yelped, and bolted away at a high rate of knots, the dog ran for several hundred meters, with Graham racing after it shouting, "SUKI! GET BACK HERE!" Concurrently, Ben ran back to me with his ball, his tail wagging, completely unperturbed by events. All he wanted was for me to throw the ball again. Once you have owned a Staffy, or rather, once YOU have been OWNED by a Staffy, no other breed will suffice. Ben was amiable towards other dogs, he was never the aggressor. However, if another dog made the mistake of being aggressive towards him, the response would be instant and ferocious. On 2-3 occasions, Ben saw off aggressors that foolishly attempted to bully him in a most robust and fearless manner. The Staffordshire will not back down from any opponent- they would square off against a lion were it necessary, and that is no exaggeration. They are immensely strong, very agile and fast on their feet, and they possess an iron will, they are extremely tenacious. The Staffordshire is a warrior at heart and the males in particular know it! I'm on my third, they are a most remarkable breed and they bring a lot of joy into your life.
Best breed ever Will never change my breed Of dog English stephenger boutaire 🥰😍🥰🥰🥰
