I don’t use treats to train my dogs for the most part. Rosie and Brandy have never been trained with treats. Here I demonstrate how I play train my pups. These border collies are just 1 year old and still puppies. They have a future as Canada Goose Control Dogs on big corporate properties. For their safety and the safety of others they need to be 100 percent obedient with an emergency stop and down. I have incorporated this training in their playtime since they are puppies. I want them to associate stop and down with fun.

Did you actually have to teach this every Border Collie I’ve ever owned they kind of almost have a natural outrun and a natural down but I’m sure there are some that have to really be taught way to go Brandy and Rosie
Does Rosy always seem to get the ball?
A good game that I do is to have one dog stay or wait and I check the ball and I released one of them only and I take turns back-and-forth
