Hi! Welcome to our channel. We are Phil and Amy Booth of BlueRose Kennels and our channel is sponsored by Canine Chronicle TV. Our goal is to provide useful tips, tricks, tutorials and product reviews for the Dog Show Community as well as all dog lovers who want to learn something new.

This video is meant to share the best practices for where to carry your bait while showing your dog, or more importantly where not to. This topic mostly affects the ladies as men have pockets in their Sports coats, Blazers, suit jackets AND pants. We hope you enjoy this light-hearted video!

  1. I want to "love" this but a "like" will have to do. I was taught old school, pockets or some sort of pouch. Hate the ones sold at shows since they are too shallow, the velcro is hard to get open with one hand, if you dont get it closed the bait is flying. And "boob chicken" is the most unprofessional thing i have ever seen next to skirts so tight and short everyone knows what color your underwear are or if you are even wearing any. I make my own pouches to match the outfits that dont have pockets.

  2. Yes clothing/shopping tips for adult handlers and also if you have any tips for junior female handlers too (8-12 age group) please

  3. Look like Amy Booth? Sign me up! And no one should listen to Phil. 🤣🤣

Also: no more bait in your mouth, too easy to spread germs right now. 🤢🤮

  4. Prefer not to ruin my clothing, my pockets. How many times have pockets been chewed out or liver dry cleaned? I’ve gone to using a bait pouch although not my favorite.

  5. Shopping tips sound awesome! I love shopping for deals online after I try on certain brands. I am new to the breed ring so this topic was just what I’ve been wondering about.

  6. Did she really say that storing bait in one's mouth is worse for female handlers than for their male counterparts? Really? Bad enough that some people consider conformation shows to be frou-frou dog beauty contests–is it Canine Chronicle's position that it's actually a beauty contest for human women? Sheesh.

  7. Don’t you just get greasy pockets? So difficult to clean 😢 I like the ‘running buddy’ magnetic ‘pocket’ that slots into my pocket – then I can wash it separately – hope that helps someone. Love your videos. I’m learning lots!

  8. I feel like I tried on half the store today trying to buy a new dog show outfit with pockets. 😆 I have several outfits I could wear that just don't have pockets, and I have a sewing machine, so I think I will try adding pockets myself! Thanks for the tips.
